Our Pathways to Purpose College & Career Program [P2P] puts to work the character qualities and life skills developed through our in-school classes, the social-emotional skills, resilience + confidence + agency, and team-oriented mindset gained from our sports and adventure experiences, and relational trust cultivated through our life-on-life mentoring as students move through these postsecondary readiness themes: EXPOSE, EMPOWER, EQUIP, AND ENGAGE
Through face-to-face encounters on site with various partners, students explore educational and career options that inform the design of their high school and post-secondary plans.
Students visit campuses of post-secondary institutions that offer degrees/programs that align with their chosen career pathway.
Students tour the facilities of our corporate partners in their field of interest, learning about careers that contribute to accomplishing the organization’s purpose.
Students learn about the role each partner plays in their communities as well as the employee roles that make their work happen.
Students take part in activities with outcomes that inform the career pathways they choose and shape their development of post-secondary plans that lead to career attainment.
Seniors identify concrete steps to reach goals for post-secondary mobility – Enrollment, Enlistment, or Employment.
Underclassmen meet with teacher-mentors to select a career pathway and craft a plan with tangible goals for fulfillment.
To pinpoint interests along with capabilities that shape high school and post-secondary plans and inform career pathway selection, students complete our Self-Discovery Capstone [Year 1], Via Character Assessment [Year 2], Wayfinders Life Mapping U [Year 3], Agile Work Profiler [Years 3+4], and High5 Strengths Test [Year 4].
Students implement our curriculum’s character qualities and life skills along with soft skills employers indicate as essential for successful employment in their chosen fields.

Students gain firsthand experience with different careers in their fields of interest and sharpen leadership skills through service in their communities.
Students get a small taste of potential careers that align with their interests by shadowing people working in those roles.

Students learn that leadership involves service by giving back to their local communities by volunteering on special projects.
Pathways to Purpose ignites dreams and possibilities. It anchors our program, preparing students for economic mobility through college and career readiness. Our mantra, 'no one gets there alone,' is realized through teacher-mentors and partner opportunities.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Host a vision trip – college/trade school, corporate/business, or community/nonprofit.
Guide students as they develop resumes and/or participate in mock interviews.
Visit an in-school class to share your professional/entrepreneurial story with students.
Allow a student interested in your career to shadow you for a day.
Co-facilitate discussions such as college admission, financial aid, networking skills, financial literacy, professional etiquette, and other critical topics alongside our staff
