In-Class Speaking Series
Step into the classroom and help students explore what's possible for their future. We're looking for professionals who are willing to share their career journey, life experiences, and words of encouragement with Elevate students as they begin thinking about life after high school.
No speaking experience is required—just a willingness to be authentic, encourage students, and answer questions about your career path. We encourage speakers to focus on their personal experiences, including how they chose their career, challenges they overcame, and advice they wish they had received while in high school.
Students may ask questions such as:
- How did you get into your career?
- Did your career require education or training after high school?
- What skills from high school have helped you in your career?
- How can students gain exposure to this career field?
- What advice would you give someone interested in pursuing this path?
Handouts are welcome but not required. Each classroom visit lasts approximately 30 minutes and takes place during a live Elevate class.
