A new school year is underway, and we're bringing life-changing, holistic mentorship back into the classroom.

Our mission to transform lives through relationships begins with creating a safe, supportive environment where our students can thrive. Through state-accredited classes at our partner schools, we incorporate holistic mentorship into the school day with unique, hands-on lessons.
In the classroom, we focus on character and life skills training, equipping students to identify their strengths and establish goals for the future. These lessons help students grow in their knowledge of themselves and how they can become thriving contributors in their communities.
With regular 1:1 check-ins, our Teacher-Mentors keep students on track to graduation while reminding them that they don't need to pursue their goals alone.

"[My Teacher-Mentor] challenged me by making me face reality and what can happen if I don’t try my best. She pushed me to meet my goals every time she saw me."
-Elevate Indy student
It's no wonder Elevate saw a record-number of seniors cross the finish line to graduation in 2026 - because the support found in the Elevate classroom empowers them to not only grow as students, but also as people as they work toward the bright futures they deserve.
As we begin our 11th school year with our IPS partner schools, we look forward to another year of building relationships that lead to incredible growth.

STAFF SPOTLIGHT: ADAM JOHNSON

How long have you been a part of the Elevate family?
I joined Elevate in October 2019.
What part of being a Teacher-Mentor resonates with you the most? In other words, what is your "why?"
My "why" is helping students discover opportunities they may never have imagined and equipping them with the skills, confidence, and relationships to build a brighter future.
Do you have a favorite memory from Elevate you'd like to share?
One of my favorite memories was taking a group of students snow tubing in Koteewi. As one student and I raced down the hill side-by-side, he looked over at me and yelled, "I've never done anything like this before. This is amazing!"
That moment has stayed with me because it perfectly captures the power of exposing students to experiences they may never have otherwise had. Sometimes a single experience can change how a young person sees the world - and what's possible for their own future.
