ANOTHER YEAR OF LONG-TERM, LIFE-CHANGING LEGACIES
It's almost the end of the school year, and our seniors are ready to thrive!
After years of skills training and mentorship both in and out of the classroom, 141 seniors are preparing to take these skills into the world as thriving contributors in the workforce and the community.
Our Pathways To Purpose provides personalized career coaching and navigation services as seniors learn what it takes to achieve long-term success after high school. With the support and empowerment of their Teacher-Mentors, these seniors have explored possible career paths and identified postsecondary goals to fit their strengths, needs, and interests. Once decided, students then create 2-year action plans with practical steps toward achieving their goals.
By opening doors to new possibilities, we aim to show students their limitless potential and equip them with the tools to pursue upward economic mobility.

We are grateful for another powerful Band-Aids To Solutions panel in honor of National Youth Violence Prevention Week. With the help of our panelists, staff, and community partners, we are working to create long-term solutions to youth violence in our city.

Held on May 13th & 14th at The Estuary, this signature event honors the hard work and accomplishments of our seniors. Surrounded by the friends, family, and mentors who have supported them, each student will share how far they've come with Elevate, where they're headed next, and their hopes for the future.

Whether you are serving food, setting up decorations, or connecting with a future hire, you can be part of lifting up the next generation of our city's leaders. How & when did you first become involved with Elevate?
I had been exposed to Elevate through my work at EmployIndy and had attended Vision breakfasts in the past and participated in Mock interviews.
Which part of Elevate's mission speaks to you the most?
The way in which Elevate connects with young people and meet them where they are. I also love that it goes beyond the classroom to give unique experiences and work on building social capital.
What would you tell someone who is considering engaging with Elevate?
DON'T WAIT! This is an amazing organization doing really impactful work that is transforming lives.
What are you looking forward to for the future of Elevate?
Getting more engaged with the youth as well as helping the organization connect young people with work based learning experiences.
