The holiday season can be overwhelming for many, but like we always say, no one gets there alone.
Our alumni care program is growing, and we want our alumni to feel supported and loved during the holiday season.
Join us as we assemble care packages for our alumni, a small but powerful reminder that their Elevate family is always in their corner.

What is fall without football?
Join us for a day of teamwork, camaraderie, and character building at our annual Turkey Bowl! Volunteers will help us run the game and create a memorable event for Elevate students.
If football isn't your thing, no worries! We can still use help serving food and cheering on students at this exciting event.

How did you get involved with Elevate originally?
In 2008, along with three other friends, I co-founded Elevate Orlando which is where we were living at the time. We all wanted to invest in urban youth and found a very successful model in Denver called Colorado Uplift. We adopted the model and that became Elevate Orlando. In 2014, when we moved back to Indianapolis, I gathered a few friends and we founded Elevate Indy [in 2016].
What about Elevate's mission resonates with you the most?
Building relationships that are based on what is taught in the classroom - character, values, and leadership - resonates with me the most. That builds the foundation to let these great young people understand how they can be their best and become a great contributor to our community.
How does your background/experience help you bring a unique perspective to the Elevate team?
I believe my 17 years of experience with Elevate, both in Indy and Orlando, as well as several other cities we've been involved in, gives me a unique perspective. It has been great to be involved in the tremendous growth that Elevate has enjoyed in the last five years. God has truly blessed this organization with outstanding results.
What is one reason you would encourage someone to engage with Elevate?
If you have a heart for the future of urban youth, I don't believe you will find an organization that, through its Teacher/Mentors, curriculum, programs, and activities, changes the trajectory of the lives of the kids we serve better than Elevate Indy. You will truly witness transformation and life success.
What is one thing you're looking forward to for the future of Elevate?
I'm looking forward to the continued growth of Elevate Indy and stories of the tremendous success of our alumni!
