Did you know that of our recent Elevate graduates, 95% graduated with a completed 2-year postsecondary action plan?
This is an impressive achievement for any student. But in our underserved, under-resourced communities, this can change the trajectory of a student’s life.

Elevate aims to provide more than academic support for our students. Our holistic support model and state-accredited curriculum aim to provide tools that will prepare our students to become thriving adults after high school.
Students like Alalia.
Alalia began her Elevate journey less than enthused about high school or her plans for the future. But her Elevate family helped her discover her unlimited potential, opening doors for the future and empowering her to visualize a bright future.
Today, Alalia is a 2025 graduate of George Washington High School. She not only completed her high school education, but she also plans to pursue her college degree and start her own business.

This is the kind of transformation we love to see!
Whether students pursue college, career, or the military, we know that they have the potential to succeed in whichever path they choose. By focusing on holistic mentorship, education, and college & career readiness, we help our students gain skills such as:
- Leadership
- Teamwork
- Workforce readiness
- Healthy Risk-Taking
- Social-Emotional Growth
We are so proud of the academic achievements of our Elevate students. But the Elevate transformation is so much more than academic success. It’s the young man who has gained the confidence to see himself as a leader. It’s the young woman who gains financial literacy skills to prepare for adulthood. It’s the student who feels prepared to go into any job interview because they have developed key skills like communication, collaboration, and have built a strong resume.
With the support of full-time Teacher-Mentors, we aim to help change the trajectory of students’ lives by providing the tools and resources necessary to overcome obstacles and achieve personal, professional, and financial stability. And, with their 2-year action plans in hand, we know these students are ready to become thriving, contributing members of the community.

We want to continue transforming lives in 2025-2026, but we need your help to do it!
By donating to our spring appeal, you can help us provide 24/7 mentorship, character & life skills training, sports & adventure programming, and college & career readiness to even more students in our city’s most underserved communities.
And, thanks to an anonymous donor, donations made before June 30th will be MATCHED dollar-for-dollar up to $30,000. This first $30,000 will help fund the hiring of our new Family & Alumni Growth & Persistence Manager.
