HOW YOUR SUPPORT EMPOWERS THEIR DREAMS
Elevate is in the middle of our June summer impact after recently celebrating the 94 Class of 2025 senior graduates at our Suits & Sneakers. The culminating celebration of thousands of hours of teaching, mentoring, listening, growing, and investing in this class of seniors over their high school experience.
This year, thanks to the individual, corporate, foundation, and church support, each of these 94 seniors is in an incredible place of readiness compared to where they started. Credit to them for the hard work they've put in, often overcoming the worst of our society and neighborhood dynamics, but credit to you, our donors and volunteers, for joining in the work.
Among dozens of impactful metrics, here are a few to highlight:
- Nearly 100 alumni students served YTD
- 95% of our seniors completed a 2-year post-secondary readiness plan
- Elevate student school Attendance: 11% higher than partner school average
- 78 students mentored in Elevate from the partnership IPS Arsenal Tech Early College
Program
- 199 students attended a college and corporate Vision Trip
Your partnership has fueled a new approach to urban youth development rooted in long-term mentoring, life skills education, and character-building relationships. Because of your steadfast belief in our mission, approximately 5,000 students and alumni are living proof that this model works.
This month, I’m asking for your special support. Extra support, if you’re able. We have a special matching gifts campaign of $30,000 that will support a designated Elevate staff member to serve our growing alumni base. This support is essential to continuing the decade of impact made with undersupported Indianapolis students.
