YEAR-END IMPACT OPPORTUNITY: CHANGE LIVES IN 2025

As we approach the close of another transformative year, we find ourselves reflecting on the incredible journey we’ve been on—one made possible by you. Every single week, I see firsthand the life-changing impact on Elevate students you’ve made possible.
When a student is suddenly moving again due to an eviction, Elevate shows up to mentor and help the student understand. When a student has struggled to keep up with academics, Elevate offers support. When a student is hungry in class due to food insecurity, Elevate provides a snack. When a student is mourning the loss of a close friend to gun violence, Elevate listens. When a student wants a moment to “just be a kid,” Elevate shows up.
When a student has no one else in the stands for their big game, Elevate is in the stands. When a student has dreamed about visiting a college, Elevate makes those college visits possible. When an Elevate elementary school student wants to improve their reading, Elevate reads with them. When a student is having mental health struggles, Elevate walks alongside them.
Thanks to you, we are celebrating the past 10 years of long-term life-changing impact and looking forward to the next 10 years of these life-changing moments in our city. Over the past year, 1,308 students and alumni experienced the power of long-term, life-changing relationships.
Consider just a few of the impact points from the last five years:
- Only 1 out of 450 Elevate seniors haven’t graduated in 5 years
- Since 2019, our college & career mentoring has grown from 843 hours to 8,000 hours in 2024, while overall mentoring has grown from 237 students and 2,211 hours to 655 students and 15,143 hours in 2024.
